By NBC17, NBC17 Updated: Aug. 31 4:20 pm RALEIGH, N.C. - NBC-17 continues to lead the way in political coverage during the 2010 election cycle by announcing a debate among Congressional District 1 candidates. Debate participants include Congressman G.K. Butterfield and GOP challenger Ashley Woolard. The debate will be broadcast on September 12, 2010 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The candidates will answer questions submitted by North Carolina residents. Voters can send their questions for the candidates to myvote@wncn.com, and should include their first and last names along with their city/county of residence. The deadline to submit questions is noon Monday, September 6, 2010. |
